About the Author

A native of Buffalo, New York, Lisa gave up a career in law to devote herself full time to writing and developing a non-profit organization, Wagging Tail Foundation, Inc., that will help people nationally who wish to have a dog but cannot afford the daily costs of owning and caring for one, local elderly people who may need help in transporting a dog to vet visits, local mentally limited individuals who may live in group homes or other supervised settings and need assistance and training in caring for a dog, and national monetary assistance for dog owners who cannot cover veterinary costs that are necessary to save the lives of their animals.

Lilacs in Bloom is Lisa's eighth completed manuscript. She has also written Bless This House, two non-fiction works, two novels, a novella that includes numerous poems, and a series of vignettes on love. She currently lives in Florida with her dogs.
